On December 04, 2017, an official APP new media platform named "Chengdu Metro" was formally launched. The project is BII Transit Systems (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (short for “BII-TSBJ”) a subsidiary of the group, was completed in research and development during the implementation of Chengdu Metro Line Network Command Center project.

R & D personnel of BII-TSBJ have designed 8 functions, such as travel plans, train positions, station information, current limiting information, congestion levels, transfer guides, first and last buses, equipment repairs, facility information, Store information, ticket purchase, ticket introduction, operating dynamics, travel notes, lost property, subway encyclopedia, tell us and my points. Among them, the equipment repair, congestion, train location functions are implemented for the first time for National Metro APP.

With the app, passengers can learn about ride and transfer guidelines, station and surrounding information through these functions, and finally plan and select the appropriate travel routes through these.

In addition, with the installation of the Chengdu subway two-dimensional code lockage installed, passengers can soon realize the experience of buying ticket on the APP.
