With the rapid expansion of the national metro network, the rising energy consumption of the subway and the increasing operating costs associated with energy consumption. Beijing Subway Operation Co., Ltd. actively explored measures and management measures to reduce energy costs and entrusted BII Transportation Technology(Beijing) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BII Railway Transportation Technology Holdings Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "BII-TTBJ") to set up the first large-scale energy consumption monitoring and statistical analysis platform based on Hadoop (hereinafter referred to as" energy consumption platform ") for urban rail transit in Beijing Metro which is scheduled to be put into operation in early 2018.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of the energy consumption platform, the equipment department of Beijing Subway Operation Co., Ltd. took part in the two-phase meeting rooms with three floors of BII-TTBJ Building from November 27 to November 28, 2017 for the 2-day training of using the energy training platform organized by BII-TTBJ. The trainees also operate a branch company in Beijing Subway, Except for No.1 branch, No.2 and No. 3 branches and operate No.4 branch of Beijing Subway Operation, the participants also include over 40 energy business backbone staff such as the personnel from Beijing Subway Power Supply Branch, Tonghua Branch, the Mechanical and Electrical Branch, and Jian'an Company etc.

Through the explanation and practical training of various functions such as data query, statistical analysis, power quality analysis, carbon emission management, auxiliary decision-making, energy report, alarm and event management, data entry of energy platform software, the trainees can get familiar with using methods of main functions of energy consumption statistics and monitoring software, strengthen the application skills, and master the relevant work processes and permissions of their respective units, laying a good foundation for smooth and stable operation of the Beijing Metro energy statistics and monitoring platform. The training was completed successfully.
